New Leaves, Bodhi Tree 3 2010 Acrylic on canvas panel 20 x 15 cm In this painting, I aimed to convey a message of hope and renewal through the image of new leaves growing from the trunk of the Bodhi tree. These new leaves symbolize new beginnings and the potential for positive change in one's life. To emphasize the significance of the Bodhi tree in Buddhist culture, I added a few Buddhist flags behind the leaves at the lower portion of the painting. This helps the viewer understand the context and importance of the image. I used bright colours and bold brushstrokes to create a sense of new life, energy, vitality, and security in the painting. My hope is that the painting will inspire viewers to embrace change and cultivate a sense of optimism and positivity in their own lives, while also evoking feelings of growth, transformation, and hope.
